Mabamba Swamp and Lake Mburo National Park Begin your birding expedition with a visit to Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda's premier birding sites and home to the elusive Shoebill Stork.
Embark on a guided boat safari through the swamp, keeping your eyes peeled for a variety of wetland species. Continue to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse birdlife, including the rare African Finfoot and Red-faced Barbet.
Explore the park on guided birding walks and game drives, encountering a wealth of avian species amidst the scenic savanna landscape.
Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's premier birding destinations. Spend two days exploring the forest on guided birding walks, searching for elusive Albertine Rift endemics such as the African Green Broadbill, Grauer's Rush Warbler, and Shelley's Crimsonwing.
